This position is responsible for always maintaining the physical integrity of the grounds and clubhouse. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of maintenance related experience including but not limited to; plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Maintain a clean appearance of grounds, clubhouse, office & common areas daily.
- Assist with cleaning the model apartment.
- Abide by OSHA standards.
- Be aware of Federal Fair Housing guidelines as taught by employer
- Complete the required training modules assigned by the company.
- Assists with keeping the parts and storage areas organized and secured.
- Assists with the apartment make ready process for vacant units.
- Completion of assigned work orders for repairs and improvements.
- Appliance repairs, plumbing, electrical, some HVAC, carpentry, locks and sheet rock maintenance and repair duties.
- Use of basic hand tools and power tools.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum 1 year of apartment/multi-family experience
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance specific experience
- Customer service oriented
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills+
- A strong team player
- Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop talk or hear. Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
