Are you a confident leasing professional with a proven track record of success at challenging or turnaround properties? Vintage Realty Company is seeking an Experienced Leasing Consultant for Village at Fountain Lake, a high-volume residential community in Gonzales, Louisiana. We’re looking for a results-driven individual who thrives under pressure, knows how to close leases, and is ready to make a meaningful impact.
Position Overview:
As the community’s sales representative and brand ambassador, you will play a critical role in increasing occupancy, building resident satisfaction, and supporting the property's performance goals. Ideal candidates bring 3 to 5 years of leasing experience and a demonstrated ability to drive results at high-demand, high-turnover, or distressed properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a warm, professional, and customer-focused atmosphere in the leasing office and throughout the community
- Conduct property tours and highlight the features and benefits of the Village at Fountain Lake
- Ensure model units and market-ready apartments are always in top showing condition
- Respond promptly to all inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins with a sense of urgency and professionalism
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of local market conditions and competing properties
- Accurately complete lease paperwork and walk applicants through the leasing process
- Follow up consistently with prospective residents to convert leads into signed leases
- Execute outreach and community marketing efforts to generate traffic
- Ensure any deficiencies from move-in inspections are addressed promptly
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local housing regulations including Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA
- Complete ongoing training requirements including Fair Housing and sales courses
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

3 to 5 years of leasing or high-volume sales experience, preferably in apartment or multi-family housing

Proven success working in challenging, high-turnover, or underperforming properties
- Excellent sales, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and follow-up abilities; detail-oriented and tech-savvy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with leasing or property management software is a plus
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
